Amid the Koro epidemic and the ongoing peasant agitation, it was learned that the central government was planning to start the budget session in January.

This was stated by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi in a letter to impatient Congressman Ranjan Chaudhary. The winter session of Parliament could not be held this year due to the Corona epidemic. Gone are the days when not a single session of Parliament could be held. In this regard, impatient Ranjan Chaudhary had written a letter to Prahlad Joshi a few days back asking the question as to when the government is scheduled to convene a session of Parliament.

In reply, Prahlad Joshi wrote that due to Corona, the monsoon session had to be held in September this time as well. A lot of precautionary measures had to be taken at that time. 27 bills were passed in that session. Joshi further wrote that on the one hand the killer is cold and yet even the spread of corona has not stopped. The central government could not hold a winter session. So the budget session in January was currently under consideration.
