Four killed, including three soldiers, in a horrific accident on the Indo-China border in Sikkim

Four people, including three soldiers, were killed in a tragic accident on the Indo-China border in Nathula, Sikkim on Sunday. Among those killed in the crash was an army colonel's 13-year-old son.

The vehicle of the soldiers, which was passing on a snowy road in Nathula, fell into a deep ditch. The picture of the scene of the accident shows how serious the accident will be.

East Sikkim SSP SP Yelsapi said an army vehicle skidded off the snow-covered Jawaharlal Nehru Road near Nathula 17 miles away and fell into a ditch. The crash killed three soldiers as well as the colonel's 13-year-old son, while another was injured.

The injured soldier has been admitted to a hospital in Calcutta for treatment while the bodies have been removed from the wrecked vehicle and sent for postmortem, a police official said.
