Thousands of farmers have taken to the streets in Delhi to protest against the Centre's new agriculture law. This is the sixth day of the Delhi Chalo Andolan. The peasant leaders then sent a clear message to the government that we have come to fight across Delhi.

We will not leave until the new agricultural laws are repealed. The farmers sighed that the Prime Minister should listen to our minds as well.

Addressing the media on the Indus border in Delhi, the farmers' leaders said the agitation would continue till our demands were met. Farmer leader Jagmohan Singh said, "We are not going to compromise with our demands."

No other conversation except repeal of agricultural laws. We are here to fight across. We will formulate our next strategy from the Delhi border. We have come to Delhi to tell the Prime Minister to listen to the minds of the farmers.

Meanwhile, farmers' leader Yogendra Yadav said that the agitation was not of farmers of one or two states but of the entire country. The government and its ministers are spreading the lie that the agitation belongs only to the farmers of Punjab when in fact many farmers of the state have joined the agitation. In Tamil Nadu, on the other hand, farmers have now started agitating against the agricultural law.

After Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, now the farmers of Tamil Nadu are also agitating. Farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait has announced that we will build our huts at Dharna Sruthal and stay there till January 26.

Meanwhile, when the farmers tried to enter Delhi, a water cannon was fired at them, tear gas shells were fired by the police. Although the farmers are not annoyed with the police, they are also giving food water to the farmers. The farmers sitting on the dharna went among the police on Guru Nanak Jayanti and distributed prasad to them.

The farmers had prayed on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Meanwhile, it is the sixth day of the Delhi Chalo Andolan of farmers and so far three farmers have been killed. While the Burari ground in Delhi where the farmers are protesting, the administration no longer allows them to go out.

As a result, these farmers have started a hunger strike on the ground. Earlier the farmers had expressed fears that the government telling us to go to Burari Maidan is a move of the government as this ground is an open jail and we will not go there while some farmers reached this ground

However, now the police are not letting them out so the farmers are outraged. Following the farmers' agitation in Delhi, the supply of vegetables, milk and other items in Delhi and surrounding states has been cut off and inflation is on the rise. Vegetables are currently being sold at Rs 50 to Rs 100 per kg.
