Bengal worse than Kashmir, paramilitary forces to be deployed: BJP's demand to Election Commission

Calcutta, Ta. 15. December 2020 Tuesday

Political animosity between the BJP and the Trinamool Congress has reached a climax even before the elections in West Bengal.

At a time when BJP workers are being attacked in the state, the BJP has now submitted an application to the Election Commission demanding that the situation in the state is worrisome and worse in Bengal than in Jammu and Kashmir. The police are not fair, the police are acting like TMC workers. State government employees are publicly telling the people to openly support the TMC. In these circumstances, fair elections are not likely to take place in Bengal.

The BJP has demanded that the Election Commission conduct free and fair elections in the state as soon as possible and deploy paramilitary forces in West Bengal as soon as possible by enforcing the code of conduct.

Recently, JP Nadda's convoy and the convoy of BJP in-charge of West Bengal Kailash Vijvargiya were attacked.
