Article 144 was enacted with immediate effect as the Corona case escalated in the Noida area of ​​Uttar Pradesh. It was also announced that the order would remain in force till January 2, 2021

Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Ashutosh Sharma said, "We took this decision after seeing the corona infection and the growing number of patients." The decision will be effective from December 6 to January 2. Violators will be prosecuted.

On Sunday, 138 new cases of corona were reported in Noida's Gautam Buddha Nagar, bringing the number of corona victims in the area to 23,458.
