Agriculture law will benefit small farmers, PM Modi announced at the FICCI convention


- We are removing obstacles

Addressing the 93rd annual convention of the Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry (FICCI) via video conference, the Prime Minister said the new agricultural law would benefit small farmers. We removed the obstacles in their way.

The Prime Minister also inaugurated the exhibition organized by FICCI through digital medium. He said that the progress which was halted due to Kovid 19 infection was accelerated again and foreign investment in the country was also on record. FICCI's annual meeting is for three days starting today.

The Prime Minister said the economic indications indicate that the circumstances are optimistic. The country learned a lot from Corona's difficult circumstances. We learned how to stay healthy even in times of crisis. The credit for this goes to our young businessmen, workers, farmers and the youth of the country.

He added that a few years later, if we remember the circumstances that the country and the world went through during the Corona era, we would not even realize that the circumstances deteriorated as fast as they did. In the year 2020, we have seen a lot of ups and downs. But very quickly the key turned. The rest of the year 2020 has upset the whole world.

The whole world took note of the prompt action we took to save our citizens during this epidemic that plagued the world. India made the issue of saving lives a priority and the whole world was watching the results. Even during Kovid, foreign investment in India set a new record. The FCI also saw a sharp rise.

He said that even in such a crisis situation, the proof of unity that we gave stunned the whole world. He said that the present government was taking various measures for the welfare of the entire country. The new agricultural laws will prove useful to small farmers. We have removed the obstacles in the way of agriculture and farmers. The government was taking steps for the progress of the countrymen.
