Oxygen shortages at a major Pakistani hospital have left some patients dead and others in critical condition.
Opposition groups called for the beleagured PM to resign.
At least six crore patients died of oxygen deprivation on Saturday night, according to a report published by a reputed British newspaper quoting Pakistani government officials. The incident took place at the Khyber Teaching Hospital, the largest in Peshawar.
According to the latest report, a two-year-old child also died due to lack of oxygen. The hospital confirmed the baby's death but denied reports of death due to lack of oxygen.
