Wholesale sales of Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor and Toyota commercial cars fall sharply

Wholesale sales of passenger vehicle companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor and Toyota Kirloskar fell sharply in the September quarter amid the Corona virus epidemic. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Sales and Marketing), Maruti Suzuki India, said, “People's interest in commercial and public transport has declined. They have started choosing personal medium instead. If you look at our portfolio figures, fleet sales fell 69 percent in the second quarter. He said that considering the period from April to September, fleet sales are down 77 per cent compared to last year.

Srivastava said, "As a result, the share of wholesale in total sales has come down from 7% to only 2.4% as compared to last year. , Eco, Tours and Ertiga. Hyundai Motor India sells compact sedan Accents in the fleet category. Hyundai Motor's fleet of vehicles also declined during the period.
