Political mercury is rising in West Bengal as elections approach.
BJP's Bengal president Dilip Ghosh has made an explosive allegation that members of Al-Qaeda, a notorious terrorist organization in the state, have been identified. The terrorist network is getting stronger in Bengal. The situation here is even worse than in Kashmir.
The BJP is likely to face Mamata Banerjee in the forthcoming Assembly elections and the BJP's enthusiasm has increased with the results of the Bihar elections.
On the other hand, Mamata Banerjee is also under siege due to the recent killings of BJP workers and this issue is also likely to be raised in the elections.
