Washington, Nov. 4, 2020, Wednesday

Four candidates of Indian descent have so far won in the US election results.

Among them are Dr. Ami Bera, Premila Jaipal, RO Khanna and Raja Krishnamurthy. People of Indian descent are gaining ground in the US elections. This time, both Republicans and Democrats have worked hard to please the Indian community.

Indian-origin candidates, on the other hand, are making significant strides in the US election. Premila Jaipal, 55, has won the House of Representatives election for the second time.

RO Khanna, 44, defeated Republican Indian-origin candidate Riteish Tandon by more than 50 percentage points. RO Khanna has won the election for the third time in a row in California's 17th Congress District.

In California's Seventh Congressional District, Dr. Amy Berra defeated Republican candidate Buzz Patterson by more than 25 percent.
