Tunnel found in Jammu's Samba sector, connections with Nagarota encounter terrorists

Srinagar, Sunday 22 November 2020

In the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have discovered a 150-meter deep tunnel near the international border towards Pakistan. Since then, all the senior officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police and BSF have reached the spot and cordoned off the entire area. The tunnel is found in the Regal area. According to officials, four militants who were killed a few days ago in the Nagarota sector had entered India through the tunnel. The other part of this tunnel is in Pakistan.

IG N.S. "It appears that the terrorists killed in the Nagarota encounter entered the Indian border through this 30-40 meter long tunnel," Jamwal said. This is a new tunnel. We believe they were also helped by a guide who took them from here to the highway.

It is said that at around 6 pm on Friday, two drones from Pakistan crossed the international border and entered the Indian border. Which was also attempted by BSF jawans. But the drones managed to escape towards Pakistan. Jawans are keeping an eye on the border after the incident. And meanwhile the security forces have found the mine.

An anti-tunneling operation has been underway at the border since Friday, officials said. Under this, such illegal tunnels are being detected at the border. Army and police have also been involved in the operation along with the BSF.

However, Pakistan is constantly hatching failed conspiracies to infiltrate India. There is evidence of Pakistan's conspiracy to bring terrorists into India, sometimes by drones and sometimes with large quantities of weapons. But the eyes of the Indian security forces are turning the tide on Pakistan's nefarious intentions. And now officials have also discovered the mine.
