PM Modi celebrates Diwali with Indian visit to Jaisalmer

This time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate Diwali today with an army contingent in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. After the formation of the NDA government in Delhi, PM Modi celebrates every Diwali with the departure of the army.

After becoming the Prime Minister, PM Modi celebrated his first Diwali in Siachen. So in 2015, PM Modi celebrated Diwali with a visit to the Punjab border. In 2016, they reached the Indo-Tibetan border in Himachal Pradesh. So in 2017, Diwali was celebrated with a visit to Gurez in Jammu and Kashmir.

In 2018, Diwali was celebrated with the departure of Army and ITBP near the Indo-China border, while in 2019, it was celebrated with the departure of Hershil. Then this year too, maintaining this tradition, the Prime Minister will celebrate Diwali with the army personnel on the Pakistan border and increase the enthusiasm of the army personnel.

On the occasion of Diwali, Narendra Modi has appealed to the countrymen to light a lamp in the name of the soldiers deployed at the border. The PM tweeted, "This Diwali, let's light the lamp as a salute to the soldiers." The gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful adventure of the soldiers cannot be expressed in words.
