PM Modi made a special phone call to Mulayam Singh to wish him a happy birthday

Today is the 81st birthday of Samajwadi Party founder and former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav and it is raining good luck on him.

Among those who greeted him was PM Modi and, more surprisingly, PM Modi telephoned and spoke to Mulayam Singh to wish him a happy birthday. PM Modi said that Mulayam Singh is one of the most senior and experienced leaders in the country. And he is one of the serious leaders for agriculture as well as rural development. I work for his long and healthy life.

Incumbent CM Yogi Adityanath, on the other hand, has also congratulated Mulayam Singh. In UP, Akhilesh Yadav recently announced that the Samajwadi Party will not form an alliance with anyone in the forthcoming assembly elections.

The Samajwadi Party also congratulated Mulayam Singh and said, "With Netaji's blessings, we are committed to strengthening the Samajwadi Party by continuing the struggle for social justice."
