Srinagar, Ta. Sunday 22 November 2020

Pakistan is not coming out of its nefarious moves. Amid tensions in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, a suspicious object has been spotted flying near the LOC. With the vigilance of the army, she turned back. It has not yet been confirmed whether it was a drone or something else.

Alert issued near LoC

An alert has been issued near the Line of Control (LoC) after seeing an object flying in the Mendhar sector of Poonch, a mountainous district of Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday morning. According to sources, the suspect was probably a drone and the army fired shots at it. SDPO Z A Jaffrey of Mendhar said a special operation by the army and police was underway in the area.

In the past, Pakistan has repeatedly tried to disarm drones in the Samba sector on the international border. Pakistani drones also entered Indian territory on Friday evening. On which BSF vigilantes opened fire.

Pakistan is already trying to take advantage of the geographical conditions of the Samba sector. Pakistan's focus is on the Jammu and Kashmir National Highway and the maritime route that helps in concealing the theft.

Whether it is an intrusion in the east or re-mining and smuggling of weapons from drones, these efforts are intensifying in areas around the coastal canals and forest areas with infiltration routes.

Pakistani drones were spotted in the Chak Faqira area of Bengaluru on Friday. Which is being seen in conjunction with arms smuggling. This was also seen from the drone in the East Ramgarh area. Twice drones were also seen near Samba's Bani Nalla. Weapons were also seized from the Rasa area once. Weapons have also been recovered from Samba's Basantar sea.

The army also conducted a search operation in the area on Saturday. Troops searched the entire area, but weapons and other suspicious items were not seized. Security agencies across the region are still on alert.
