India built a tunnel in Ladakh to thwart any move by China

New Delhi, Saturday 22 November 2020

India-China has been holding regular meetings in eastern Ladakh to defuse months of tensions, while the Chinese media is not shying away from spreading propaganda, with the Chinese media fabricating a story about the use of microwave weapons during the recent clashes in Ladakh. India is not lagging behind, and is watching the dis-engagement in eastern Ladakh very closely, with the Indian Army building tunnels to counter any possible Chinese infiltration.

Indian Army troops met with the Special Frontier Force on August 29-30 to occupy the Pangog Soni South Hills on the LOC, thwarting all Chinese attempts deployed there, while the Chinese media use microwaves to spread propaganda. If a fake story is made, the Indian Army calls it fake news.

China successfully used tunnel defense against Japanese forces in the Second Japan-China War, the PLA has built a tunnel shelter for aircraft at the Lhasa Air Base and a nuclear ballistic missile submarine on the island of Hainan in the South China Sea.

According to top military commanders, the Indian Army has laid large diameter concrete pipes to the shelters through tunnels to protect the troops from enemy attacks, which will amaze the enemy country during the attack. Another advantage of tunnels is that they can be heated from the inside despite being very cold, and can serve as shelters for moving.
