India Biotech launches third phase trial of Corona vaccine Covaxin

The third phase of biotech corona vaccine trial has started in India. The company has partnered with ICMR to vaccinate against the corona vaccine. Testing of the vaccine in the third phase has started on Monday.

India Biotech is the only vaccine company in the world to have the facility to produce biosecurity stage-3. Last month the company said it had successfully completed first and second stage testing and was going to begin preparations for third stage testing on 26,000 people. The company had on October 2 sought approval from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for testing of the third stage of the vaccine. Meanwhile, the company is also working on a new vaccine for corona infection. Will be given in the form of a drop through the nose. The vaccine will be ready over the next year.

The American company also claimed

Recently, the American company Moderna claimed that its corona vaccine has proved to be 94.5% effective. The company has made this claim, according to preliminary data from a late-stage clinical trial. Modern is the second American company to claim a successful trial of the vaccine within this week.

Earlier, Pfizer claimed that their vaccine was 90% effective. The success of the two vaccines is being claimed beyond their expectations. However experts expect 50 to 60% of vaccines to be successful.
