If I take action against Rohingya, only people like Owaisi will shout: Amit Shah

New Delhi, 29 November 2020, Sunday

The issue of Rohingya infiltrators has now come to the fore in the Hyderabad Corporation elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who visited Hyderabad today, told AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi,

Earlier, Owaisi had said that if there were infiltrators in Hyderabad, Amit Shah should take action as Home Minister. Amit Shah replied to this statement today.

"Once the opposition writes to me to expel the Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators from the country, then I am ready to take action," he said. "In fact, there is a secret agreement between TRS and AIMIM in Andhra Pradesh. I am not bothered by it." There is no need to do so. In a closed room, both parties do elu elu. Why doesn't TRS openly declare that we have a relationship with Owai's party.

"We want to rid Hyderabad of the Nizam culture of those who campaigned in Hyderabad at the time of independence to join Pakistan. We will make Hyderabad a modern city and rid it of racism and make its administration transparent," Amit Shah said.

"There is a large section of Hyderabad who feel humiliated. But if elected, we will create a system in which no one becomes a second class citizen," he said.
