Bihar Election Live: Mahagathbandhan's joy is temporary, NDA's horse in the win


- In Bihar, the NDA will win or retain power, the coalition breathed a sigh of relief

The results of the Bihar elections are coming today. In the initial trend, Tejaswi Yadav was leading the NDA with the grand alliance. But according to the latest update, the NDA is currently leading with 121 seats, leaving the coalition behind.

At the present stage in Bihar, Nitish i.e. NDA (JDU, BJP, HAM, VIP) is at the forefront. Looking at the trend so far on the TV channel, the NDA is getting 121 seats. The figure is one seat away from the majority.

On the other hand, speaking of Tejaswi i.e. Grand Alliance (RJD, Congress, Left), the Grand Alliance was ahead in the initial trend. Bright mornings were seen near the majority. But as the rounds progressed, his grand coalition was gaining a lead of only 101.

According to PTI Bhasha, the BJP has so far won 236 out of 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly, while the RJD has won 66 seats, the RJD 65, the JD (U) 46, the Congress 23, the CPI (M) 13, the VIP six, the LJP five and the CPI (M) five. The BJP and AIMIM are leading in three seats each. Mayawati's BSP is also vying for one seat and four independent candidates.


The counting of votes was conducted in 243 seats of Bihar as per the Kovid-19 guideline
The counting of votes for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly will begin at 8 am. The votes will be counted as per the Election Commission's Covid-19 guideline. Candidates, their poll agents and counting agents will be present in the counting room. Special attention will be paid to social distance with Corona in mind.

A total of 3,755 candidates were contesting in 243 seats in Bihar. A majority would require 122 seats. Staff on election duty voted by postal ballot. The postal ballot was first counted at 8 a.m. and then the EVM votes were counted.

In Bihar, 55 counting centers have been set up in 38 districts for counting votes. Elections were held in three phases in Bihar. The last and third round of voting took place on November 7. The term of the Bihar Legislative Assembly will end on November 29. Out of 243 seats, 38 seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates.

Despite Korona, the turnout in the Bihar Assembly elections was 57.05 per cent. Which is higher than the 56.66 per cent turnout in 2015. In the recent Bihar Assembly elections, 59.69 per cent women and 54.68 per cent men voted.


Results of 243 seats of Bihar and 58 seats of 11 states including Gujarat today
The counting of votes in the by-elections of 58 assembly seats in 11 states, including 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly, has also started from 8 am. Out of 58, Madhya Pradesh had the highest number of by-elections in 28 seats. The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh needs 8 out of 28 seats for a majority.

Besides, the results of eight by-elections in Gujarat, seven in Uttar Pradesh, four in Manipur, two in Karnataka, two in Odisha, two in Jharkhand, two in Nagaland, one in Telangana, one in Haryana and one in Chhattisgarh will be declared tomorrow.
