Biden is far ahead of Trump, but Trump can still turn the tide

Washington, Nov. 5, 2020, Thursday

Democratic candidate Joe Biden is just 6 votes away from the 270 electoral votes needed to win the US presidential election, but Trump is still leading in some states where the count is pending.

As of now, Biden has received 264 votes and Trump 214. Biden now needs only 6 votes and Trump needs 56 votes.

Counting is currently underway in five states, with Trump leading the way in most of them. If Trump gets more votes in these states, the final result could be in Trump's favor.

This is the situation in these states.

Pennsylvania has 20 votes and Trump is ahead

North Carolina has 15 votes and Trump is ahead

Alaska has 3 votes and Trump is ahead.

Georgia has 16 votes and Trump is ahead here.

Nevada has 6 votes and Joe Biden is ahead.

In the current scenario, the states where Trump is ahead have 54 votes if he wins, while Biden needs 6 votes.

Under these circumstances, Donald Trump now has to hope for a victory in Nevada as well, because Nevada still has 25 percent of the vote to count.

The way Trump was first in the state of Michigan and then Biden got ahead and Biden got the electoral vote of this state. Experts say that the result cannot be announced by cheating.
