Terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda and IS are using Corona as a biological weapon and inciting terrorists by spreading misleading information that the Corona virus is 'punishing infidels' and that it is 'God's care' in the West. The UN report is entitled "Preventing Virus Misinformation: The Malicious Use of Social Media by Terrorists, Violent Radicals and Criminal Groups during the Covid-19 Outbreak" and is published by the United Nations Inter-Regional Crime and Justice Research Institute.

According to the report, criminals and violent extremists are using the epidemic to build networks and undermine public trust in governments and talk of using the virus as a weapon.

Terrorist, violent fundamentalist and organized criminal groups have used social media to spread misleading information about the Corona virus, the report said.

The report said that groups linked to IS and al-Qaeda also spread false information about the virus and told people that the virus was "a soldier of Allah" and that it was punishing infidels and enemies who had been harming Muslims for years.

Citing an example, the report said that IS and al-Qaeda had claimed that the virus was "a carnage in the West." Al-Shabaab, on the other hand, said the Corona virus had spread to "Christian (Crusader) forces invading the country and their infidel infidels."

According to the report, the Global Fatwa Index has identified IS and al-Qaeda-linked messages regarding Kovid-19, including unofficial fatwas, telling IS members infected with the Corona virus to act like "biological bombs" and destroy the organization. Deliberately spread it.
