After Delhi, fireworks are now banned in Haryana and Mumbai.

- Both Corona and Winter were held responsible

Mumbai dated 9th November 2020 Monday

After the capital New Delhi, the states of Haryana and Maharashtra have also banned fireworks due to the Koro epidemic and winter pollution.

The Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had announced that in a private society, simple firecrackers like fulzar or pomegranate can be fired only on November 14 (black fourteen). Other than that, no fireworks can be set off in public.

However, like Delhi, the Maharashtra state government did not announce whether any punishment would be meted out to those caught exploding firecrackers. The Haryana government, on the other hand, also allowed eight to ten firecrackers to be set off at night only on Diwali and Besata. It also banned the use of fireworks.
