'We will give jobs to one million unemployed' leaders rounding the elbows of voters

- Grand Alliance announces Common Election Manifesto

Patna 17th October 2020 Saturday

With just eight to nine days to go before the Bihar Assembly elections, Norte had earlier in the day issued a general election manifesto to the grand alliance saying, "If we come to power, we will provide jobs to one million youth."

Promises cost either. The grand alliance also promised to build an airport in Bihda, pay teachers equal pay for equal work, provide transport allowances to youths going for job interviews and forgive all debts of farmers.

Tejaswi Yadav, son of RJD's Lalu Yadav, further said that so far Bihar has not been accorded special state status. We will give special status to the state, reopen the closed sugar mills and eradicate unemployment. The grand alliance also announced the slogan 'Pran hamara sankalp badlav ka ...'. Tejaswi said that today is the first day of Navratri, people are setting up kalash at home. We have also established a kalash there and have pledged to establish our government by defeating Nitish Kumar's government.

The grand alliance was accused by Nitish Kumar's government of carrying out more than 50 scams. Tejaswi also claimed before reporters that we have evidence of scams in Nitish Kumar's government. He said the present government buys electricity and sells it to the people. We are going to generate more power supply. Our priority will be to provide affordable electricity to the people.

Leaders of CPI (M), Communist Party, etc. also addressed the press conference on the occasion and termed Nitish Kumar's government as a curse on Bihar.
