Faisalabad, 27 October 2020, Tuesday

A shocking incident of gangrape came to light in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Fifteen men gangraped two underage sisters for six consecutive days. The incident came to light following a complaint lodged by the mother of the girls.

According to the mother of the girls, on September 11, some people came and picked up my two daughters, aged fifteen and seventeen. He was then taken to various places and gangraped. A video clip of the incident was also released. We are poor people. We are not in a position to fight these people. We can't even afford to pay the lawyers' fees so we decided to leave this house and move elsewhere.

Even after the girl came back home, those defiant factors did not leave her behind. He was constantly harassed.

This is not an isolated case. Cases of gangrape were now a daily occurrence in Pakistan. Cases of kidnapping and gangrape, especially in the Punjab province, were a headache for the government. Recently, a mother of two was gangraped by some people on the Lahore-Sialkot highway. Now there is a demand in Pakistan for the death penalty for gangrape accused.
