Ram-Rath-Yatra' in America: Will visit 851 temples in 48 states: Will travel 8 thousand miles in 60 days


- The journey will start from Chicago on Earth Day Monday and will end in Sugar Grove, Illinois on the day of Hanuman Jayanti, April 23.

New York: Ever since 'Ram Lalla' has been seated in Ayodhya. Since then there has been unprecedented enthusiasm among Hindus living all over the world. In America, a car rally was held under the leadership of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on that day. Now Ram Mandir Rath Yatra will be taken out on a large scale in America. The journey will start from Chicago on Monday, a dusty day. It will pass through all 48 states on the US mainland to Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands of Hawaii. He will visit 851 temples in 60 days, during which he will travel 8,000 miles and will end up in the town of 'Sugar Grove', Illinois on 23rd April, the day of Shri Hanuman Jayanti.

Amitabh Mittal, general secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA), the organizer of this yatra, said that the chariot built on Toyota-Siena-Vain along with the idols of Lord Sri Ram, Mother Sita, Brother Lakshmana and Ram devotee Hanumanji along with special prasad and prana brought from the Ram temple of Ayodhya. The revered Akshat Kalash will also be in this yatra. Mittal said the establishment of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has pleased the hearts of more than one and a half billion Hindus around the world, instilling in them a new energy and faith.

This nationwide journey will start from Chicago, USA on March 25 and will travel 8000 miles to visit 851 temples in America and around 150 temples in Canada. The arrangement of this trip in Canada is to be handled by 'Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Canada'.

Tejal Shah of 'Hindu Mandir Sashaktikaran Parishad', the head organization of all Hindu temples in America, said that the aim of this journey is to create awareness among people about Hinduism, to inform people about Hinduism and to empower them.

This Ratha Yatra aims to bring Hindus of different sects under one umbrella and to spread the true understanding of Hindu ethics and religion. Many youths have registered their names to participate in this planning.
