Treatment of Rahul Gandhi is called gangrape of democracy, Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut blasts

-Rahul and Priyanka wanted to go to Hathras

Mumbai Dt. 2nd October 2020 Friday

Shiv Sena MP and mouthpiece Saamana editor Sanjay Raut alleged that grabbing the collar of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who wanted to go to Hathras and pushing him was a gangrape of democracy. A judicial inquiry into the incident is under way, Raut said

Raut also implicated actress Kangana Ranaut in the incident. Raut said why Kangana Ranaut, who considers herself a victim of women's atrocities, does not say anything about the Hathras incident. This was also an atrocity on a woman.

Sanjay Raut claimed that the barbaric behavior of the Uttar Pradesh police towards Rahul Gandhi would not be supported by any sensible citizen of the country. This was a similar incident to gangrape on democracy. It should be judicially investigated. Rahul Gandhi is the grandson of the late Indira Gandhi and the son of Rajiv Gandhi. Both these dignitaries made sacrifices for the country.

He said Rahul Gandhi should have been allowed to visit the family of the Hathras victim. After gangraping a Dalit girl in Hathras, the Thakur youths cut off her tongue so that she could not say anything to anyone and broke her spine. The girl died on Tuesday after battling for ten days.

Instead of handing over the body to his family, the police conducted the cremation at half past midnight on Wednesday.

Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were going to Hathras to meet the girl's family. The police stopped him halfway. Rahul claimed that the police grabbed him by the collar and pushed him away.
