The government says there is a ban on gutkha, the judge paid and ordered a gutkha pouch from outside.

Gutkha is banned in a number of states of the country. Gujarat is also involved in it. Jharkhand is also in the list of these states. However, the government's own claim poll in court over the ban on gutka was opened by the judge himself.

During the hearing of the petition against the ban on gutka, the government had said that there was a ban on gutka in Jharkhand. Meanwhile, the judge took money out of his pocket and ordered a pouch of gutka.

During a video conferencing hearing on Friday, the government's special secretary for food security claimed that there was a complete ban on gutka in Jharkhand. The judge asked, "I have shown you the gutkha sold out in front of you."

The judge said that the government should look into whether the gutkha sold in the state comes from other states or whether it is manufactured in the state itself. Whether any officer has been appointed.

The special secretary was then unable to answer the court's questions. He assured that the government would take drastic action in this regard. The judge then directed the government to submit a detailed report to the court to comply with the ban. A further hearing was ordered on December 4.
