The intelligence department traced the terrorists' conversation about the attack when Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to inaugurate the Atal Tunnel. Following this, the security arrangements for the Prime Minister were tightened.

The same dog squad that was arranged for the security of former US President Barack Obama will also handle the security of the Prime Minister.

The Atal Tunnel, built in Rohtang, will enable Indian Army personnel to be sent wherever needed. Our troops can be rushed to the pro-Pakistan border or the pro-China border. This tunnel is the largest tunnel in our country. The International Terrorists had planned to strike when Narendra Modi went to inaugurate it.

The intelligence department traced the terrorists' conversations. Following this, the security arrangements of the Prime Minister were updated.

The Centre's Home Department had decided to deploy an Indo-Tibetan Border Police Elite K Nine (Sniffer Dog) Squad under the Prime Minister's security. This is the same Dog Squad that took over his security during US President Barack Obama's visit to India.

The sniffer dogs were taken to the Atal Tunnel in air-conditioned vehicles. Details of how many commandos and how many sniffer dogs are in the squad were kept private due to security.
