Revelation on the issue of congratulations caused a stir in Pakistan

-The battle between Nawaz Sharif and General Bajwa became fierce

-Sardar Ayaz Sadiq clarified in Parliament

The battle between former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Bajwa escalated after Sardar Ayaz Sadiq made a statement in the Pakistani Parliament on the issue of Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Vardhman.

Condemning Sadiq's statement in Parliament, Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babur Iftikhar alleged that Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was talking about "distorting history". Nothing like what Sadiq said happened at the time.

It may be recalled that Sadiq Nawaz Sharif's party is an MP from the Pakistan Muslim League and is believed to be close to Nawaz Sharif. In fact, the statement made by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was considered a part of the battle between General Bajwa and Nawaz Sharif.

Major General Iftikhar claimed that Pakistan had dealt with the situation to the best of its ability and action had been taken accordingly. He also claimed that such clarity was needed to put Pakistan's history in the right context.
