Jaipur dated 5th October 2020 Monday

Rajasthan Police Director General Bhupendra Singh Yadav said that even for the disposal of family property, crimes like rape are now being committed. This is a new trend in criminals.

He said the current population growth, unemployment and internet rape cases are responsible for the rise. There is so much information available on the internet about crime that the younger generation is easily attracted to it. The anger that they have in their minds due to unemployment is thus vented out through crime. Rajasthan police removed several crime related websites. But remove one there are found the other two.

He added that the situation could change for the better if the children get proper education. I firmly believe that if education increases, crime will decrease. Rajasthan Police has started cracking down on crimes committed through social media. It was also important that the people cooperate in this work.

Regarding the complaints received against the police personnel, he said that the complainant expects my complaint to be settled immediately. That is not always possible. Each police is assigned a specific task. That task also has to be completed by the person concerned within the stipulated time. We also try to dispose of the complaints we receive against the police staff as soon as possible.
