Pakistan: Durga Mata temple vandalized, idol smashed on Navratri

The atrocities against Hindus in Pakistan continue unabated. It has been during the Navratri festival in Pakistan that the idol of Goddess Durga has been smashed by fundamentalists.

In the city of Nagarparkar in Sindh province, besides attacking the idol of Mataji, the attackers also caused severe damage to the temple. Earlier, a temple in Sindh was also vandalized on October 10.

The priest of Durga Mata temple said that in the middle of the night, strangers entered the temple and smashed the idol by locking the door from inside. The temple was also damaged on the way out.

The Hindu community living near the temple had expressed outrage over the incident, saying such incidents could not be carried out. The government should catch the culprits. On the other hand, the police said that not a single culprit could escape.
