Move the accused to another jail, please ... the demand of the victim's family in the Hathras case

The family of the victim in the Hathras case had demanded that the accused lodged in the Aligarh District Jail be dealing with the outside world while sitting in the jail which could prove dangerous for us to move the accused to another jail.

According to media reports, one of the accused had a conversation with his family while sitting in jail. Jailor Alok Singh confirmed the report. However he argued that any prisoner could talk to his family on the phone. There is nothing illegal about it. The AOP also spoke in the presence of a police constable in the case.

The victim's family demanded that this too be considered as part of the investigation. With the demand to move the case to another area, we are now demanding that the accused be shifted to another jail.

Earlier, it was reported that Rajveer Singh Daler, a BJP MP from the area, had gone to the jail and met the accused. Daler, however, dismissed the report as false. He defended that I had gone to see the jailer at work.

A letter written by the accused to the superintendent of police was later leaked on social media. In it, they called the case an honor killing and claimed their innocence. First the MP met, then the accused's letter to the SP was released and now the accused has spoken to the family - taking all these matters further, the victim's family demanded that the accused be shifted to another jail.
