In the first round, 300 million people will be vaccinated against corona, find out who will be given priority

To combat corona, the Indian government has begun preparations for a comprehensive corona vaccination campaign.

300 million people will be vaccinated first on a priority basis. A list of who will be included is currently being prepared. These 300 million people include the most at-risk population, front line workers facing corona such as healthcare professionals, police, cleaners These 300 million people will be given 600 million doses of the vaccine.

Once the corona vaccine is approved, vaccination will begin. There are 7 million health care professionals, 20 million front-line workers and 260 million people over the age of 50. Therefore, the Center has also sought details from the states.

The committee of experts estimates that the number of health workers in the country includes 11 lakh MBBS, 8 lakh Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic doctors and 10 lakh Asha workers. Preference will also be given to patients suffering from cancer, kidney, diabetes, heart patient, liver disease.

The government has also started preparations for storage of vaccines and tracking of health centers.
