China seeks to seize Taiwan by force: US

Washington, Ta. 8
The US National Security Adviser has claimed that China is trying to invade Taiwan. According to Robert O'Brien, China could use force against Taiwan at any time.
The U.S. National Security Adviser claimed in an interview that China had arranged the military deployment in the same way that Germany had arranged for Britain in World War II. The US National Security Adviser also said that if China acted in such a way, it would have serious consequences.
The top US official said in no uncertain terms that the world could not even imagine how the United States would respond if an attempt was made to occupy Taiwan by force. China is only 160 kilometers away from Taiwan, so China has started trying to intimidate Taiwan with the power of the navy.
China's state-run newspaper Global Times, in a report threatening Taiwan, said that establishing diplomatic relations between Taiwan and the United States would not be beneficial for Taiwan. If Taiwan breaks China's rules, China will take drastic action.
After the Taiwanese president had dinner with a senior US State Department official, China protested and threatened to kill the president.
