In Agra's famous Mughal architecture Taj Mahal, some people claiming to be members of the Hindu Jagran Manch branch of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh entered with saffron flags and worshiped Lord Shiva.

The incident took place on Dussehra on Sunday. Activists also sprayed Ganga water on the premises of the Taj Mahal. Anne's video clip went viral on social media. Such controversial incidents have now escalated following the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ram temple issue in Ayodhya.

Some had sued the court for the birthplace of Lord Krishna, while others had called the Taj Mahal a Hindu temple. Gaurav Thakur, chairman of the Agra unit of the Hindu Jagran Manch, claimed that we had worshiped Shiva five times in the last few days at the Taj Mahal. Until the government hands over this monument to Hindus, we will continue to worship Shiva.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh condemned the incident and claimed that it had nothing to do with the work of the Agra unit of the Hindu Jagran Manch.
