President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday attended the Governor's Conference on New Education Policy. A new education policy has been announced by the government. In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country's goals can only be achieved through education policy and system. The PM said government interference in education policy should be minimal.

On the new education policy, PM Modi said that millions of people, including students-teachers-parents, were involved in drafting the policy. The Prime Minister said that everyone is taking this policy for granted. The suggestion is that people are looking at what they wanted to see. Now that the country is discussing a new education policy and how to implement it in the country, it is necessary because this is what is going to shape 21st century India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about the convention. The PM wrote in his tweet that he will be attending a conference with the president, governor and university chancellors on September 7 at 10:30 a.m. on National Education Policy 2020 and its transformative impact. The emancipation that will take place at this conference will strengthen our efforts to make India a center of knowledge.
