Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation through the Mann Ki Baat program. This is the 69th episode of Prime Minister Modi's monthly radio program. In his address, Prime Minister Modi appealed to the people to abide by the rules of social distance in the Corona era. In the Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister said that it is very important to keep a distance of two yards in Corona's time.

Talking about the importance of storytelling tradition in the country, PM Modi said that the history of stories is as old as human civilization. If the mother feels the strength of the story, she will tell the story while feeding her children. Storytelling has been a tradition in India. We are proud to live in a country where the tradition of Hitopadesh and Panchatantra has prevailed.

Prime Minister Modi said that in every family, an old, big man used to tell the story to the family and fill the house with new inspiration, new energy.

In this era of Corona, the whole world is going through a time of many changes. Today when a distance of two yards has become an indispensable requirement. So this crisis has also worked to bring family members together and closer. We need to realize how important the ritual that our ancestors created is even today and how much it is lacking when it is not.

If the farmer is strong, India will become self-sufficient. PM Modi said, we are told here. Those who remain attached to the land remain resolute no matter how great the difficulty. Our agricultural sector, our farmer is a living example of this in Corona's tough times. Today farmers have the freedom to sell their crops at will.

"A farmer brother from Haryana told me that there was a time when he had difficulty in selling his fruits and vegetables outside the mandi but the removal of fruits and vegetables from the APMC Act in 2014 benefited him and his fellow farmers a lot," Modi said.

Recalling Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Modi said that Gandhiji's ideas are more relevant today. October 2 is a motivating and holy day for us. Remembering the martyr Bhagat Singh, the Prime Minister said, Bhagat Singh's passion should be in our hearts. Bhagat Singh has been a great contributor to the country's independence.
