US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officials continue to deny H-1B category visas. Rejection rates for this category of visas have been very high in 2019 and 2020. This was claimed in the findings presented after the statistical analysis.

The H-1B visa category rules that offer jobs to foreign youth in the United States have become more difficult in the Trump administration. The U.S. Department of Immigration denies this category of visa, citing a variety of reasons.

According to a report by the National Foundation for American Policy, applications for H-1B visas from various companies continued to be rejected in the second quarter of 2020. The U.S. government rejected applications from foreign youths seeking to work in the top 25 companies, according to figures from the U.S. government's Immigration Department.

The rate of rejection of applications from foreign youths seeking to work in 20 of the 25 companies has increased by an average of 10 percent during the Trump administration. The application of most IT companies was rejected. The rate was even higher in the second quarter of 2020.

In 2015, the visa rejection rate for IT professionals seeking to join the top 10 companies was one to five per cent. It reached 20 percent in the second quarter of 2020. In 2015, the rejection rate of applications from 16 out of 25 companies was only two per cent. The H-1B visa denial rate was as high as 16.6 percent in the first quarter of 2020.
