This new Global Covid-19 test will now deliver results in just a matter of minutes

A test that can get information within minutes of calculating the Covid-19. The ability to obtain case information will be increased in low- and middle-income countries.

The WHO said in a statement that the 5 test could change the way Kovid-19 is tracked in less affluent countries. Where there is a shortage of health personnel and laboratories.

12 crore test kit

The deal for production will provide 12 crore test kits in six months. The WHO president called it a milestone. However, in the long run between testing and receiving results, some countries' efforts to control the spread of coronavirus have been hampered. In some countries with high transition rates, including India and Mexico, experts say lower test rates are hindering the proper spread of their outbreaks.

Provide results in 15-30 minutes

The new, highly portable and easy-to-use test will deliver results in 15-30 minutes instead of hours or days, said WHO Director Tredos Adenham Grabeis. Tedros said drugmaker Abbott and SD Biosensor have agreed to work with the Charitable Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to produce 120 million test kits.

The deal involved 133 countries

The deal covers 133 countries, including some Latin American countries that are currently badly affected by the Corona. Tedros said this would enhance the test. Especially in hard-to-reach areas, which do not have laboratory facilities or adequately trained health workers to test.
