In the last 24 hours, 96,551 new cases were reported in the country and more than 1209 people died due to corona. This was the largest figure ever.

With this, the total number of corona cases in the country had crossed 45 lakh. If we talk about accurate statistics, at present the number of people affected by corona in the country is 45 lakh 62 thousand 415. There are nine lakh 43 thousand 480 active cases and 35 lakh 42 thousand 664 people recovered and returned home. However, in some areas there have been cases of recurrence of coronary heart attacks. The reason may be that people are now a little more careless about using masks or social distance as a precaution.

So far, 76,271 people have died in the country due to corona. Currently, the highest number of cases is in the state of Maharashtra, where the worst cases are in Pune, the cultural capital of Maharashtra, and Mumbai, the country's economic capital. Second was Delhi with more cases of corona infection. Similarly, there were reports of more cases of corona in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in South India.
