Businessman Mukesh Ambani has also got a third investor in Reliance Retail. Global investor General Atlantic will invest Rs 3,675 crore in Reliance Retail.
The announcement was made today by Reliance Retail and General Atlantic. As part of the deal, Reliance's pre-money equity is valued at Rs 4.28 lakh crore. Earlier, General Atlantica had also invested Rs 6,598 crore in Reliance Jio. Shown.
Reliance Retail has about 12000 stores in the country. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, "I am pleased that our relationship with General Atlantic has grown stronger.
