The central government is preparing to increase train ticket prices by up to Rs 35 in the coming days.
According to the news agency, the government is preparing to increase the price of tickets for the renovation of railway stations. The proposal will be sent to the Cabinet for approval very soon. And where the rush of passengers is high. There are about 700 to 1000 stations in the country which fall into the above two categories.
The same user charge is levied for facilities at the airport. It is included in the air ticket itself. The same will now be done by the railways.
