Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday unveiled details of the kind of film city he plans to build in the state. He declared this to be an ambitious plan.

According to the plan, the Film City will be set up on one thousand acres of land belonging to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority in Gautam Buddha Nagar. The place was just an hour away from the capital New Delhi. The film city will be located near the proposed international airport in Jawar. The airport will be the largest greenfield airport in the world.

A world class infotainment zone will be set up at this place. Here all the facilities required by the film industry will be provided. Main. The minister's office further said that the birthplace of Lord Krishna would be close to the city of Mathura, the Taj Mahal, the city of Agra and the proposed logistics hub to be built in Noida. It may be recalled that at a meeting on September 18, Yogi Adityanath announced the establishment of a film city like Ramoji Rao's Film City in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Shailendra Bhatia, Officer on Special Duty, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Authority, said the Chief Minister had approved the plan to set up a film city in the area. "We want to provide the best film city in the country and this will create a number of employment opportunities," Yogi said. We entrusted the experts to prepare a work plan to create this Film City.
