The monsoon session has begun in Parliament. However, on the first day, every MP was tested for corona. In which about 30 MPs and 50 staff members of the Parliament have reported positive so they will not get admission in the Parliament.
These MPs are being treated for corona. Those whose condition is worse have been hospitalized while others have quarantined themselves at home.
Among the MPs who have tested positive for Korona are junior railway minister Suresh Angadi, BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, Anant Kumar Hegde, Parvesh Sahib Singh, Rita Bahuguna and Kaushal Kishore. The highest number of 17 MPs out of 30 is from Lok Sabha while the other is from Rajya Sabha.
The Rajya Sabha includes Congress leader Dipendersinh Hooda, Naran J Rathwa, BJP MP Ashok Gusti, Abhay Bhardwaj, AIADMK's Navneet Kishanan, AAP's Sushil Kumar Gupta, TRS's Laxmikanta Rao and AITC's Shanta Chhetri.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said MPs and other staff together took 2500 samples. Meanwhile, Corona's report from several MPs has come positive.
Thus, when a Corona report of an Aam Aadmi Party MP came positive, AAP Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia got fever so he has isolated himself and at the same time his Corona report will be made.
A one-day session was called in the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Monday. In which the question period was not held. Meanwhile, Manish Sisoria was scheduled to introduce a bill but could not attend the session due to sudden deterioration in his health. They have isolated themselves due to fever.
On the other hand, 78-year-old Chanesh Ram Rathiya, a senior Congress leader and former minister of Chhattisgarh, succumbed to his injuries. He was admitted to a private hospital in Raigad. Odisha Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das's report on Korona has come positive. So they are being treated.
