National mourning in Bangladesh in honor of late Mukherjee

Former President of Bangladesh A day of national mourning has been observed in honor of Pranab Mukherjee and a tribute has been paid to the true friend of the country. He died in the 1911 war of independence of Bangladesh. Bangladesh remembered Mukherjee's unprecedented and unforgettable contribution.

Bangladesh: In addition to all the governmental, semi-governmental, autonomous and private institutions in Bangladesh commemorating Mukherjee for strengthening opposition ties between India, the country's national flag was flown at half-mast in honor of Mukherjee at the Bangladesh Mission abroad.

Pranab Mukherjee (3) died in New Delhi on August 21 after a 21-day battle against various ailments. He was buried with full political honors yesterday.
