New delhi date. 05 September 2020, Saturday

Veteran Congress leader P. Chidambaram has targeted the Modi government over the Koro situation in the country and the growing number of cases. The Congress leader claimed that India was the only country where the lockdown strategy could not be taken advantage of. He also estimates that the number of coronavirus cases in India will reach 6.5 million by September.

Lockdown failed, forecast made on transition statistics

"I estimated the number of infected people to be 5.5 million by May 30, I was wrong," he tweeted. India will reach that figure by September 20 and the number of infected could reach 6.5 million by the end of September.

He said that India is the only country that is not seen taking advantage of the lockdown strategy, Prime Minister Modi promised to defeat the Corona virus in 21 days and he should explain why India failed while other countries were seen succeeding.

Target of the Ministry of Finance on the state of the economy

In another tweet, he targeted the finance ministry on economic issues, saying it had no response to the unprecedented negative growth in the first quarter of 2020-21. But the old game of claiming to confuse the people of India and pick up the pace of growth again has come to the fore.
