Amid ongoing tensions between India and China, Congress MLA Ninong Ering complained that the Chinese army had abducted five civilians from Arunachal Pradesh.

The Congress MLA claimed that five citizens of Subangiri district in Arunachal Pradesh had been abducted by the Chinese. Ering also tweeted a complaint to the Prime Minister's Office. Ering claimed that such an incident had taken place even a few months ago. Some Indian nationals were abducted and tortured by Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Ering also released two screenshots with his tweet, which included the names of five civilians abducted by the Chinese military. Ering wrote that strict action should be taken against China. It may be recalled that for the last two to three months, China has been creating constant tension on its borders. There were also attempts by China to infiltrate near Pangong Lake on the Ladakh border.

There was also a clash between the Indian Army and the Chinese. The Indian troops suffocated the Chinese troops and succeeded in getting them out of the Indian border. The Chinese, however, made heavy military deployments on the border and deployed tanks and artillery in addition to leaving. China, on the one hand, claimed to be negotiating and, on the other, was blaming the border.

At the international level, India's hand was high. Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who was in Moscow to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, sternly told his visiting Chinese defense minister to move beyond our borders first. Talk to you later
