The face mask is safer than the coronavirus vaccine, said the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a leading US health organization. CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield made the remarks in front of a committee of the US House of Representatives. There have been more than 39.91 million cases of corona virus in the world.

US President Donald Trump has not been a supporter of the mask-wearing policy. When MPs asked the CDC director about this, he said, "I can't comment on the President, but as the CDC director, I would say that the face mask is the most powerful tool for public health." I would appeal to every American to wear a face mask.

CDC Director of America Dr. Robert Redfield said that if Americans wore masks for several weeks, the epidemic would be largely contained. He said there is scientific evidence that the mask works and offers the highest protection.
