-Report published to the Bill and Melinda Foundation

-It will take a long time for the situation to improve

New Delhi Dated 16th September 2020 Wednesday

The spread of the coronavirus pushed about 40 million people into abject poverty. An international report said it would take a long time to rectify the situation.

The warning was uttered in a report prepared by the Bill and Melinda Foundation. According to the report, those who were poor before Corona's arrival were pushed into extreme poverty by Corona's beating. His condition was like hell. Such a situation became especially tragic in developing countries.

According to the report, at least 37 million people in the world were earning barely 140 rupees (1. 1.9) a day. This poverty is considered more severe. Even in low-income countries, people earn an average of 3. 3.20 a day, or about 240 rupees. Countries around the world also accept this income as below the poverty line. The situation is even worse in India. According to the report, about 68 million people do not even have a minimum income.

The Bill & Melinda Foundation also provided details in the report that up to last year, 80 per cent of children had been vaccinated against various diseases. But that figure also dropped in 2020, with 70 percent of children no longer getting the smallpox or diphtheria vaccine. This is also a serious matter and needs to be addressed by countries around the world. The foundation said Corona has made the world's progress in vaccination over the past 25 years in just 25 weeks. So it is not surprising that the number of child deaths is increasing day by day.

The foundation also argued that the situation was exacerbated by the Corona, which diverted the attention of governments around the world from the real problems of that country. Most of the world's hospitals today only treat corona, so the attention of governments was diverted from other serious diseases.

Corona also had a sweet effect on education. 53 per cent of children in low-income countries and 87 per cent in African countries were deprived of education due to corona.
