China hands over five missing youths from Arunachal Pradesh to India, quarantined for 14 days

Five Arunachal Pradesh nationals have gone missing amid ongoing tensions on the border between Indian and Chinese forces. An MLA from Arunachal Pradesh had alleged that he had been picked up by Chinese troops and had sought help from the central government. Information has been received from sources that the abducted youths have been handed over to India by the Chinese army, and diplomacy has won. It is worth mentioning that the last several days were missing.

The Chinese army will today hand over the five Arunachal civilians to the Indian army. It is learned that around 9.30 am, the Chinese army could hand over the youths to Indian troops. Chinese troops will bring the young men to the Vachha area near the Kibitu border. From where it will be handed over to the Indian Army. Union Minister and Arunachal Pradesh representative Kiran Riju tweeted this. According to the protocol of Kovid-19, all the five youths will be quarantined for 14 days.

It was reported that the youth had accidentally walked over the LAC on September 4 in Suwansiri district. Which are to be handed over to the youth. Named Toch Singkam, Prasat Ringling, Dongtu Ibia, Tanu Bakar and Nagaru Diri, this is the second such occasion this year. During the meeting, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister discussed the ongoing tensions between the two countries.
