Patna 28th September 2020 Monday

As the Bihar Assembly elections approach, new games are being played. His wife Aishwarya had announced to contest against RJD president Lalu Yadav's son Tej Pratap Yadav. The rift between the couple is well known. Now both are going to contest against each other.

Tej Pratap Yadav is all set to contest from Hasanpur constituency as RJD candidate. JD (U) had announced to keep his wife Aishwarya standing in front of him. Aishwarya will contest from her father-in-law's party as a victim woman. At present, Hasanpur seat is in the hands of JD (U). Here Rajkumar Rai is the MLA of JD (U), Rajkumar Rai was the winner in the 2015 assembly elections. However, at that time there was an understanding between JD (U) and RJD so Rai was the joint candidate.

This time JD (U) and RJD are facing each other. Tej Pratap's father-in-law Chandrika Rai has already joined JD (U). Now if JD (U) removes Aishwarya, Hasanpur seat will be a matter of prestige for both RJD and JD (U). However, JD (U) has not yet made any official announcement. Political experts believe that Prince Rai will contest from another seat or be sent to the Legislative Council.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently in jail in the fodder scam. On the other hand, Jitan Ram Manjhi and other Dalit leaders from RJD have left Kushwaha RJD. So Ram Vilas Paswan's party left JD (U) and announced to contest the elections independently. Thus, this time the Bihar Assembly elections will be really full of tussle
